PhD student Miguel Contreras received grant funding!

PhD student Miguel Contreras Sieck received grant funding from the Maya Society of Minnesota to conduct pilot research for his dissertation project. His dissertation research will combine ancient DNA and geometric morphometric approaches to study ancient craniofacial variation in the Basin of Mexico. As part of this research Miguel has also taught workshops in 3D scanning methods for students in Mexico. Congratulations Miguel!
